STYLE CRUSH: Carey Mulligan

The relatively new kid on the fashion block doesn't fail to disappoint.

Carey Mulligan has come a long way since she first hit the big screen as Kitty Bennet alonside Keira Knightly in Pride and Prejudice. But it was her leading role in An Education that really put her on the radar.

Now, having beaten off the creme de la creme of Hollywood ladies for the role of Daisy Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby (Natalie Portman, Blake Lively and Keira Knightly were reportedly up for the role) she really has been thrust into the limelight, but it is her cute, quirky style that has had us here at Sugarscape talking!

TREND OR TRAGIC: Mischa Barton's shortie dungarees

We can't see Marissa Cooper liking those...

Oh how we miss The O.C. When Seth and Summer were the cutest couple ever. When Marissa and Ryan were sweet as anything - most of the time. And when Mischa Barton wasn't weird!

Ever since we saw Mischa on 'Fearne And...', we've been a bit sceptical of her. That's been heightened now that we've seen these 'interesting' red shortie dungarees.

So, we guess it's not the most awful garment ever worn - though that baggy 'American Dad' shirt sure is a contender - but ask yourself, is it nice? Is it working? Does it make her look good?

And why is her bag so 'open'? Hasn't she heard of people who steal your things?

Oh Mischa, what's happened eh? Marissa used to be effortlessly stylish. Surely some of that fictional character rubbed off on you!
